The 2017 Emerging Issues Conference is shaping up to be an informative, highly practical gathering of people who approach mediation from a variety of backgrounds and philosophies.
The Planning Committee listened to your comments and requests and is happy to say that we have a wide-ranging group of presenters. Emerging Issues 2017 reflects the many experiences of our membership, offering something for everyone.

Sessions include:
  • The Honorable Susan V. Kelley:  on the role of mediation in the resolution of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee case.
  • Crystal Uebelher :  Claims Attorney at Secura Insurance who oversees litigation around the country for them and spends a lot of time in mediation.  She will present on what Insurance Companies want from a mediator.
  • Joey Novick:  will present workshops on Using Theatrical Improvisation to Enhance and Improve Mediation Skills
  • Mediation from a variety of experiences:  a panel made up of mediators with diverse backgrounds and how those backgrounds shape their styles
  • You will hear more as we finalize the program, but for now, save March 23rd and 24th for what looks to be an exciting Emerging Issues Conference.
