DALE VIRNIG SCHOLARSHIP

The Dale Virnig Scholarship was initiated in 1994 as a memorial tribute to Mr. Virnig, a long-time member of WAM.  Mr. Virnig was a pioneer in the field of mediation in Wisconsin.  While serving as director of the Waupaca court-connected family mediation program, he was instrumental in implementing the practice and philosophy of cooperative dispute resolution.  The Dale Virnig Scholarship is intended to support others in carrying out these ideals.

The scholarship will provide $500 and a complimentary conference registration for an adult practitioner to attend WAM's Emerging Issues  conference on April 22 and 23, 2009 in Madison, WI..
